FAQs

Q:  I’d like to know more about what you do?  How does GOportraits work?
A:  Here at GOportraits we offer quality on-location portrait photography at affordable prices.  You select the date, time and location and we provide the photographer.  We do require that you make your appointment and pay the full session fee at least 2 weeks in advance. 

You will speak with your photographer a few days prior to your session to answer any of your questions and to confirm the location and meeting place.  After your session, the photographer will deliver your images to the GOportraits partner studio of your choice.  You will make an appointment with the partner studio to view your portraits and place your order.

Q:  How much does it cost for the actual pictures?
A:  You will have several options when ordering from your session.  Price lists are available from the menu at the top. Just select either Weddings, Portraits, Seniors or Events.

Q:  Who will be my photographer?
A:  GOportraits selects only professional photographers with portrait experience and provides extensive training with location and event photography.  We have selected some of the best photographers in our local area to provide this service.

Q:  How do I make an appointment for a family/individual session?
A: Call us at 1-877-464-7678 or click here to get started. Select a date, time and location for your portraits. Pay the $99 session fee at least 2 weeks prior to your preferred date.  A studio associate will walk you through the family/ individual event planner and contract prior to scheduling your session.  Once a photographer is assigned to your event, they will contact you to discuss your event in more detail.

Q:  How do I make an appointment for a wedding or corporate/cultural event?
A:  Call us at 1-877-464-7678 or click here to get started. You will need to pay a minimum of $100 towards your event package when making your appointment.   The full event package price must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to your event. A studio associate will walk you through the event planner and contract prior to scheduling your event.  Once a photographer is assigned to your event, they will contact you to discuss your event in more detail.

Q:  Why do I need to pay in advance?
A:  We require advance payment on your portrait session to secure a photographer for the date and time you selected. 

Q:  When will I get to see my images and order my pictures?
A: The photographer delivers the images to the studio and the studio staff edits the images and creates enhancements prior to the viewing appointment.  With a family/individual session, your images are ready to view within 7 days.  For a corporate/cultural event or wedding, your images are ready to view within 14 days.  

Q:  Can coupons and offers from your partner studios be used toward the purchase of GOportraits images and event prices?
A:  Currently, partner studio coupons may not be used for GOportraits event packages and images. Only coupons and offers that display the GOportraits logo may be used towards GOportraits products and services.
